Paula Marie Currier (nee: Brand) 55, of Elyria passed away Thursday July 24, 2014 at home following a two year battle with cancer. She was born November 25, 1958 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Paula was a 1977 Elyria Catholic High School graduate, and was a self employed wall paper hanger for twenty five years. She treasured spending time with her family; and enjoyed sewing, decorating, and travel. Survivors include her husband of thirty four years; Ben, three sons; Benjamin (Rae) of Elyria, Jacob (Becky) of Avon Lake, and Anthony of Elyria. Additional survivors include two grandchildren; Alexander and Andrew, her mother Florence Brand (nee: Wiegand) of Elyria, three brothers; Lawrence and Thomas of Elyria, Gregory of University Heights. Paula was preceded in death by her father; Paul A. Brand, and a brother; Patrick. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday August 2, 2014 at St. Mary Church Hall 320 Middle Ave. Elyria where Rev. Michael Currier and Rev. Steven Brand will officiate. Burial will be private.
