Paul F. Overs Jr., 79, of Grafton passed away Wednesday at his home following a brief illness. He was born December 23, 1939 in Lodi and was a Grafton resident for 21 years, coming from Plymouth, MI.. Paul was employed at the Ford Motor Company for 30 years, retiring in 1998 from the pre-production department. He was a graduate of the Howe Military School, served in the United States Navy during the Viet Nam era, enjoyed playing pool and reading and was an avid Ohio State and Browns fan. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Sarah Ann (nee-Foradora); daughter, Andre' (Derek) Nelson; son, Paul W. (Kristy) Overs; granddaughter, Ella; brother, Tom (Susan) Overs. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Ann and a brother David Overs. The family will receive friends Monday January 28, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Becky Bowen-Verbridge pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church will Officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth, MI..
