Paul M. Mick 85 of Wellington passed away Sunday November 15, 2015 at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin following a brief illness. He was born January 29 , 1930 in Tague, West Virginia. Paul worked for General Industries for 44 years, and was a United States Army Veteran . He was a member of American Legion in Wellington. Paul enjoyed restoring Model A's , gardening , repairing old clocks , and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his former wife Betty (nee Moore) , daughter Cheryl (Tim) Banks of LaGrange , sons David (Karen) of LaGrange , Steven (Patty) of Grafton , grandchildren Sunnie , Dustin , Ryan , Cassie , Kellie , Mackensie , Joshua , great-grandchildren Tyler , Baylie , Gracie , Macie , Jackson , Emerie , and Maxwell , brothers Bill (Linda) of Weston , West Virginia and Gary (Clara) of Orten, West Virginia ,many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Wade and Elsie (nee Dobbins) , sister Patsy , brothers Kenna ,and Dwayne. Family will receive friends 12 Noon - until time of Service at 1PM Thursday November 19 , 2015 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57) Elyria 440-322-4626. Rev. Chuck Behrens pastor of the Hospice of the Western Reserve will officiate. Burial will be in River Rd. Cemetery (LaGrange), where full military honors will be provided by VFW post #1079.
