Paul Adams, 57, of Elyria passed away Sunday January 13, 2013 in Coldwater, MI. following a sudden illness. He was born August 19, 1955 in Elyria and was a Elyria resident for most of his life. Paul was self-employed, concentrating in the area of sales for the past 30 years. He was a 1973 Elyria High School graduate and enjoyed playing golf and horseback riding. Survivors include his daughter, Erica Adams of Grafton; son, Paul Adams of Cincinnati; mother, Pauline (nee-Bougioukled) Adams; brothers, Andy Settas and Harry Adams, both of Elyria and John Adams of Willoughby Hills; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Adams. The family will receive friends Monday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, where Trisayion Services will be conducted at 6:45 p.m.. Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Fr. Michael Gulgas, pastor of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church will Officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
