Patrick Stambaugh 56, of Olmsted Falls, (formerly of North Ridgeville and Elyria) passed away Monday August 8, 2011 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain following complications of a heart attack. He was born July 5, 1955 in Elyria. Pat was a 1973 North Ridgeville High School graduate, he was a self employed general contractor and a licensed plumber who enjoyed working with his hands. Pat had owned three auto body shops, and was a car salesman. He had attended LCCC and had earned a degree in interior design. Pat loved music and had played in the band Still Bound. He was a loving father and brother. Survivors include two daughters; Kimberly A. Mele of Elyria, Karrie Stambaugh of New Port Richey, FL, a son; Michael J. (Lisa) of Salt Lake City, UT. Additional survivors include two brothers; Philip (Cathy) of Beeville, TX, Ernest "Eddie" (Lee Etta) of LaGrange, and six grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by his parents; Ernest D. and Vondella P. (nee: Mills) Stambaugh, a sister; Phyllis Jean Dasnowski and a brother; Perry. Friends may call 4-8PM Thursday August 11, 2011 at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church 38550 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria where funeral services will be at 8:00 PM immediately following visitation. Pastor Forest Greetham of First Baptist Church of LaGrange will officiate. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be sent to the Patrick Stambaugh Memorial Fund at any First Place Bank.
