Patricia E. Younglas, (nee-Keane), 74 of Elyria passed away Saturday February 15, 2014 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born October 15, 1939 in Queens, NY. And was a Lorain County resident since 1969. Patricia worked at the former Finast Grocery Store in Elyria as a cashier. She formerly attended St. Thomas Catholic Church in Sheffield Lake, was a former Real Estate Agent with the Russell Realty Company and enjoyed playing bingo. Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Russell; daughter, Eileen (Doug) Pearston of North Ridgeville; sons, Alan DaCosta of Dalton, GA. And Victor DaCosta Sr. of Elyria; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Christina, Jennifer, Victor Jr., Venus and Cynthia; 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be Friday February 21, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Chuck Behrens, Chaplain of the Hospice of the Western Reserve will Officiate.
