IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Jean
(Vilevac) Jackson
October 9, 1930 – December 10, 2025
The world lost a walking Angel,on December 10, 2025, with the passing of Patricia Jean Jackson (nee-Vilevac). Born on October 9, 1930, Patricia was the beloved daughter of John and Margaret (Martinchak) Vilevac, she lived a beautiful 95 years filled with love, laughter, and the joy of being surrounded by family. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Ernest Jackson, and we know their reunion is a sweet one.
Patricia dedicated her life to service, learning and love. She spent many years shaping young minds as a 2nd grade teacher at Prospect School in Elyria, touching countless lives with her patience and kindness. After retiring from teaching, she continued serving the community as a realtor helping individuals finding their own place to call home. She proudly donated her time at drives for the Lorain County Blood Bank and assisted community members with AARP tax preparation, always offering her warmth and generosity.
She had a way of making everyday moments special. Pat loved roller skating with her Ern, chatting with friends on amateur radio, crocheting, playing cards with her "posse", and catching shows at Lorain Stocker Center. She was a proud member of the Elyria Moose, and to everyone who knew her, it was no secret-she never turned down a trip to the casino. But above all, Patricia's greatest joy was family. Sunday dinners were her sacred tradition, and she never missed an opportunity to cheer on her loved ones-whether at a sporting event, concert or any milestone. She was unfailingly, everyone's number one fan.
Survivors include her five children; Ernest (Nona), Richard (Nancy), Ronald (Jacqueline), David (Anita), and Bonnie (David) Schlosser. She leaves behind a legacy of love carried forward by her 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, as well as her sister-in-law Karen Vilevac, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Her life was a testament to kindness, devotion, and unwavering support for those she loved. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
