Patricia "Patti" S. Forbush (nee: Baluh) 57, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday September 7, 2019 following a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis. She was born October 9, 1961 in Elyria, where she was a lifelong resident. Patti was very proud of her Irish heritage. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Patti had worked as a sales associate at Home Depot, and was a member of American Legion Post#12 Ladies Auxiliary in Elyria. Survivors include her brother; Dennis Baluh (Karen) of Elyria, two sisters; Debra Nagel (Thomas) of Westlake, Judy Platz (Frank) of Lorain, and her loving and devoted companion; Jeffrey Laubenthal of Elyria, additional survivors include her stepmother; Patricia Baluh, many nieces and nephews, and Hannah, Emily and Joshua Laubenthal who loved Patti very much. Patti was preceded in death by her husband; Dean Forbush, parents; William Joseph and Margaret (nee: Coyne) Baluh. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday September 12, 2019 at St. Jude Church 590 Poplar St. Elyria where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of mass at 11:00 AM.
