Patricia R. Magiste (nee: Nolan) 93, of Grafton passed away at home on Tuesday February 11, 2025 following a long illness.  She was born May 18, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH., Patricia had worked at Lakewood Hospital and The Cleveland Clinic as an admitting officer until her retirement.  She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. Patricia was an avid quilter, and had worked on the Lorain County Square Bicentennial for The State of Ohio, she volunteered at The Grafton Prison teaching quilting, at The Cleveland Clinic making comfort quilts and baby blankets. She was Past President of The Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church Ladies Guild, where she also made prayer shawls, and served as a lay minister.  Survivors include a son; Edward J. Magiste, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a brother; Charles A. Nolan.  Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of sixty nine years; William J. Magiste, a son; Jerald R. Magiste, a daughter; Catherine P. Buckland (Daryl L. Sr.), her parents; William B and Rosaria (nee: Sparacino) Nolan, two sisters; Veronica Gallagher, Alma Barrett, a brother; William L. Nolan.. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday February 15, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St. Grafton where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM Saturday. The Reverend Father John P. Seabold, Pastor will be the Celebrant.  Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Grafton.
