Patricia Ann Schaffer (nee Mills), 89, of Columbia Station passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at ONeill Healthcare in Lakewood. She was born February 4, 1933 in Cleveland and was a 1951 graduate of John Marshall High School. Patricia was a member of Lorain County Republican Club, Church Choir and PTA President, she was also a lifelong member of Columbia United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, jigsaw puzzles, reading, knitting, crocheting but especially being with family and friends. Patricia was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians/Guardians. Patricia was a caring woman with a warm heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Schaffer-Jolliffe; sons, Peter Jr. (Donna), Paul (Rachel); grandchildren, Kevin, Ryan (Rachel), Alex and Morgan; great-grandson, Darren; foster brother, Don (Linda) Dolence; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Schaffer Sr., parents, Addison Mills Jr. and Evelyn Mills (nee Gray); sister, Eleanor Fresch; brother, Addison Mills III. Family will receive friends from 9 AM until time of service at 11 AM Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Columbia UMC 25453 Royalton Rd. Columbia Station, OH 44028. Rev. Mar Brunner will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens (Avon). In lieu of flowers family suggests those who wish may make donations to Columbia UMC.
