Patricia L. Meadows ( nee Tarhalla),of Elyria passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021at home with her family by her side. She was born in Bulger, PA. and was a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School. Patricia was a devoted lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria. She enjoyed traveling (all 50 states), National Parks, flower and vegetable gardening, meeting with Catholic High School friends, cooking for the homeless at St. Mary Church ,spending time with family especially Kyle. She worked for Ridge Tool, Flowers by Sharon, and most recently a Deputy Registrar for Clerk of Courts in Elyria. Survivors include her husband of 55 years Keith; daughter, Jennifer (Patrick) Higley of Grafton; son, Chris ( Marika) Meadows of Macedonia; grandchildren, Kyle, Patrick, Meghan , and Seamus Higley, Matthew Kobus; great grandchild, Claire Kobus; sister, Carole Zarbaugh (Steve Eich); brother, Robert Tarhalla. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday, May 29, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH. 44035. Per CDC guidelines social distancing will be observed. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial St. Mary Cemetery (Elyria).
