Patricia Shannon Geisler, 80, of Grafton passed away Monday October 6, 2014 at her home following a long illness. She was born June 22, 1934 in Cleveland and was a Grafton resident for 45 years. Pat worked as an editor at the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram for many years. She was a professional astrologer, as well as a teacher and published author of astrology. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah M. Geisler of Boston, MA., Susan Wallace of Grafton and Elizabeth "Libby" Sudnick of Elyria; son, Doug Geisler of Chagrin Falls; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Maureen "Sue" Debbaut of Odentown, MD., Margaret Shannon-Snoeren of Plymouth, MN., and Judith Shannon of West Chester, PA.. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Geisler in 1988. The family will receive friends on Saturday October 11, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
