Patricia C. Fada (nee Hartman), 73, of Elyria passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at her home with her family by her side following a lengthy illness. She was born January 4, 1946 in Elyria. Pat said she was blessed and fortunate to have lived the life she had but those who knew her were really the lucky ones. Pat married Jim, the man who would leave butterscotch candies on her desk in college. They built a beautiful life together. They had four children, Jennifer (Matthew) Dolin, Michelle (Kelly) Quinn, Christopher (Joclyn) Fada and Mark (Kelly) Fada. Pat loved being a mother and creating memories with her family on trips. Pat was driven and proud of her accomplishments. Those included becoming a teacher and tutor for students in the Elyria School System; Hamilton Elementary and St. Mary School. She was proud to have been able to visit all 50 states but her trip to Alaska was her favorite. Pat was able to experience so many amazing events, trips, and activities that most never do. There wasn't anything she loved more than spending time with her grandchildren; Grace, Kate, and Patrick Dolin, Kasey and Kendyl Quinn, Madelyn and Sophie Fada, Natalie, Megan and Lauren Fada. Pat continues to be loved by those mentioned above and by her siblings; Anne Marie Schiska, Agnes Mae Simonson, Kathleen (Dennis) Haskins, William (Cathy) Hartman. Pat was humble, loving, devoted and funny and she leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for their continue caring and support.
