Obituary

Patricia Fay Carson 84 of Carlisle Township passed away Tuesday June 7, 2016 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1932 in Massillon,Ohio . Pat was a longtime resident of Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria High School she also was a graduate of Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music, and Malone College . She was past president of Women's business and professional, sweet adelines , elder in the Presbyterian Church , Sunday School Teacher , organist and Choir Director. Patricia was also a teacher in the Elyria School System for 37 years. , summer advisor for Gull Lake Bible Conference in Battle Creek, Mich. , summer school advisor for the American Sunday School Union and a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Elyria. Survivors include her 2 dear friends Shirley Wetz, and Mary Lou Burnside , and her Church family. Private Graveside services will be held. Celebration of Life will be 11 AM Monday June 13, 2016 at First United Presbyterian Church 200 East Avenue Elyria 44035. Rev. Rick Stein will officiate. In lieu of flowers family suggests those who wish may make donations to the church.
