Patricia A. "Patty" Truxall (nee: Mascol) 57, of LaGrange passed away on Friday April 9, 2021 following a brief illness at The Cleveland Clinic. She was born March 16, 1964 in Cleveland. Patty had served in the U.S. Navy. She treasured spending time with family and friends, enjoyed gardening, crafts, crochet, board games, and trivia. Survivors include two daughters; Rochelle N. "Shelly" Helms of Elyria, Carol L. Aldridge (Nicholas) of Elyria, a son; Jackson A. Helms IV (Sara) of Gainesville, FL., additional survivors include three grandchildren, two sisters; Michelle L. Smith (Arthur) of Chesterfield, MI., Faith M. Rutledge (Rick) of Elyria, four brothers; Donald R. Mascol Jr. (Deanna) of Velva, ND, Kevin P. Mascol of Boise, ID., Matthew A. Mascol of Coeur d'Alene, WA., Peter W. Mascol (Amber) of Elyria, and her soul mate of thirteen years; Rick W. Whited of LaGrange. Family will receive friends from 4-6 PM Saturday April 17, 2021 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 6:00 PM immediately following visitation. Pastor Traci Featheringham will officiate. Full military honors will be provided by the U.S. Navy and V.FW. Post 1079 following services in the funeral home. COVID 19 social distancing guidelines will apply, please wear a face covering.
