Pamela Manosky (neé Harris), 62, of Elyria went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 after a short but ferocious battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Lorain County. Pam graduated from Midview High School in Grafton before going on to work for the State of Ohio at the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation in Independence and later, Garfield Heights before retiring on disability in 2013. She met her loving husband Rev. Mike Manosky at Elyria Baptist Church before the couple moved to Trinity Baptist, also in Elyria, and then to their final posting at Sugar Ridge Baptist in North Ridgeville where Pam worked to support her church community and be a source of news and information for all who needed it. She was the proud mother of Josh (Erica) Manosky and Jackie Manosky and was blessed with two granddaughters Estelle and Veronica who were the light of her world. Friends will remember Pam as a wealth of information on the comings and goings of those at the church, an avid shopper and deal-hunter, and about ten minutes late to everything under the sun. She is survived by her children, granddaughters, sister Michelle (Dave) Kundtz, niece Katelyn Kundtz, and father Sammy Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband Mike, beloved mother Imogene, and many aunts and uncles. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 9th from 11am- 1pm with the service immediately after at Sugar Ridge Baptist Church- 36600 Sugar Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Internment will be at Sunset Cemetery in North Olmsted with a meal to follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to Sugar Ridge Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society. The family would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland for their thoughtful and tireless care of Pam in her final days and the compassion that they showed everyone who stopped by.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elyria.
