Norman Marks Sr. passed away on October 31, 2016 in Houston, TX. Where he resided since 2000. Norm was born on September 5, 1947 in Lorain to his parents who preceded him in death George and Ann (nee-Matesic) Marks. Mr. Marks was also preceded in death by his brother Thomas and a sister, Judy. Norm was previously married and survived by Judy (Legeza), Lorene Marks and Rebecca Marks ;He is also survived by sons, Norman Jr. (Tanya), Dean (Cindy) and Chad; grandchildren, Matthew, James, Nathan, Madeleine, Norman III, Katlyn and Emily; brother, Robert (Judy); sister, Barb (Dan). Mr. Marks graduated from Elyria Catholic High School in June, 1968. Norm was a Viet Nam veteran having served there in the 21st Tactical Air Support Squadron from April 29, 1969 until April 28, 1970 and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant from the Air Force on March 24, 1972. Following his time in service, Norm had a long career in sales and marketing. The family will receive friends on Saturday November 12, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services and Burial will be private.
