Norman J. Linden 70, of North Ridgeville passed away Saturday September 16, 2017 at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland following a short illness. He was born January 3, 1947 in North Ridgeville. Norman earned the rank of Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal. Norman was a member of the International Union Operating Engineers Local # 18, and the North Ridgeville V.F.W. Post #9871. He enjoyed helping family and friends, fishing, hunting, and gardening. Survivors include a daughter; Melissa A. Linden of Collingswood, N.J., five sisters; Kathleen Sullinger (John) of Avon, Marge Reynolds (Denny) of North Ridgeville, Marian Gilles (Chuck) of Wellington, Joan Krystowski (Larry) of Avon, Debbie Linden of North Ridgeville, four brothers; Cletus of Grafton, Dan (Annette) of Grafton, Don of North Ridgeville, Ralph (Nicole) of North Olmsted. Norman was preceded in death by a son; Norman A. Linden, his parents; Cletus and Martha (nee: Taylor) Linden.
