Norma M. Wensink (nee Dellefield) 96, of LaGrange passed away peacefully Saturday July 15, 2017 at Ames Family Hospice following a brief illness. She was born December 9, 1920 in Lorain. Norma was a 1938 graduate of Elyria High School and a lifetime resident of Lorain County. She was employed by Kaases Bakery, Troxel Manufacturing and Elyria Value City. Norma belonged to the Stick & Rudder Club, Elyria Roller Arena, Two Farm Bureau Organizations, Carlisle Fire Ladies Auxillary, West Ridge Craft Club and a 50 plus year member of Carlisle Grange, where she worked in the Lorain County Fair Grange Cafeteria for many years. Norma loved to play the piano & organ for family and friends, doing crafts, gardening, and crocheting Afghans and hats, donating over 300 hats to those in need. Survivors include her daughters Carol and Renee Wensink both of LaGrange and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray of 64 years; parents Carl and Elsie Dellefield (nee Schroeder); sister Doris Gwin. A Private Family Graveside was held.
