Norma J. Russell, (nee- Fowler), 77, of Elyria passed away Thursday July 3, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born August 15, 1947 in Cowen, West Virginia.

Norma retired from Invacare in 2010 and enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, puzzles and spending time with family.

Survivors include her children, Wayne (Theresa) Russell, Pam (Mike) Oldfield and Michelle (Anthony) Philpotts; grandchildren, David, Brittany, Steven, Wayne Jr. and Shyanne; sister, Sue Bryant; brother, Lee Fowler.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, William Russell, parents, Earl and Gladys Fowler and brothers, Carl and Doy Fowler.

A Memorial Celebration will take place Monday July 21, 2025 at the Elyria First United Methodist Church 312 Third St., Elyria from 5:00-7:00 p.m..

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elyria.
