Nelta Kerley ( nee Eldridge) 89 of Bath formerly of Elyria passed away Tuesday May 27,2014 at Brookdale Place of Bath. She was born August 18, 1924 in Cookville, Tennessee. Nelta was a teacher's Aide with the Midview School System. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary . Nelta enjoyed crocheting but her number one passion was painting. Survivors include son Eric , sister Martha , brother Jones , grandchildren Jessica Castro , Scott , Sarah , Joanna , and Madysen Kerley, great-grandchildren Cameron and Alexis Castro, Jackson and McKenzie Kerley. She was preceded in death by her husbands Elbert Kerley and Melvin Tripphahn , parents Dewey and Mae , and son Donald. NO VISITATION. Graveside services will be Friday May 30,2014 at 2:30PM in Butternut Ridge Cemetery (Eaton Twp.).
