Nelda M. Whited, (nee-Smith), 74, of Grafton passed away Friday at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland following a long illness. She was born February 8, 1937 in Clarksburg, WV. And lived in the Elyria/Grafton area for most of her life. Nelda was the manager of Stop-N-Go in Eaton Township for 24 years, retiring in 2007. She was a member of the North Eaton Baptist Church and loved animals. Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Olgetree of LaGrange, GA.; sons, Edward Whited, Terry Whited, Stephen Whited all of LaGrange, GA. And Rick Whited of Grafton; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; her canine companion, Molly; sister, Melva Krause of Elyria; brothers, Raymond Smith of Grafton, Hayward Smith of Elyria, Haymond Smith of Parkersburg, WV. And Rodney Smith of Normantown, WV.. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2009 and a sister, Wynona Smith. The family will receive friends Monday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (AT State Rt. 57), Elyria. Friends will also be received on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. at the North Eaton Baptist Church 12109 South Reed Rd., Grafton. The Rev.
