Nancy Jane Webber (nee: Valerius) passed away Wednesday August 12, 2026. She was born October 1, 1933 in Elyria, and was a 1951 Elyria Catholic High School graduate. Nancy had been a Grafton resident for seventy one years. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton, where she married and her late husband; Richard in 1953. Nancy served as President of St. Anne’s Altar and Rosary Society for three years, Treasurer of the Ladies Guild, Parish Council, and was a Teacher/Principal of the Parish School of Religion for seventeen years. Nancy was the former owner of Cascade Plating in Elyria, and had worked many years at Swanee’s Tax Service. She was active with the PTA a various Midview Schools, and was presented a life membership in the Ohio State PTA. Nancy was a Den Mother of Cub Scout Pack #152 of Grafton for five years, a member of Grafton V.F.W., and an auxiliary member of The Elyria United Polish Club. Nancy enjoyed golf, bowling in various leagues, traveling to Las Vegas, gardening, church and above all treasured spending time with her family. Nancy is survived by her sons; Timothy (Sue), Terence, Gary (Julie), grandchildren; Amy Boone, Chris Webber, Jody Greetham, Nick Webber, Jack Bell and Amanda Owen, twelve great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Richard, a granddaughter; Molly Beth Webber, her parents; George and Martha (nee: Smith) Valerius, two sisters; Dorothy Valerius, Jacqueline Mahilo, and a brother; William Valerius. The family will receive friends Friday August 21, 2026 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 701 Erie St. Grafton, OH 44044 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM immediately following visitation. The Reverend Father John P. Seabold, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will be private at St. Mary Cemetery in Grafton. In lieu of flowers, Nancy requested that memorial contributions in her memory be sent to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church Building Fund.
