Nancy Diederick (nee Cook), 87, of Elyria passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Avon Oaks following a lengthy illness. She was born May 4, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA. Nancy was a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Jude .She enjoyed golfing, reading, and crossword puzzles. Survivors include sons, Malcolm "Cook" (Mary Jo) of Sheffield Village, and Mark (Jennifer) of LaGrange, KY.; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Sr. Mary Eileen of Baden, PA. and Diane (Rocco) Conti of Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband Malcolm; daughter Mary Christine; parents Clarence and Mary Cook (nee Griffin). Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626.
