Muriel "Pat" Renner Harrison, Pat was born in Cleveland, graduated from Maple Heights High School in 1938, and graduated from Fenn College. She earned a M.A. in English at Kent State University. She married John R. Harrison and had four children. Pat is survived by a brother; 3 children; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Renner and Daisy Black Renner, her husband John R. Harrison and her daughter Noreen Harrison. Pat taught English, Journalism, Speech, and Creative Writing for most of her teaching career in the Midview, Elyria, and Elyria West school districts. She also taught at Lorain County Community College and Oberlin College summer sessions. Pat was a member and former Sunday School teacher at La Porte United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Lorain County Spinners and Weavers Guild.
