Monica Lynn Ross, 66, of Elyria, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus on Saturday, April 19, 2025. She was born July 31, 1958 in Battle Creek, MI. She was the beloved daughter of Edward and Grace Ross (nee: Marshall). Monica was a 1976 graduate of Lorain Catholic High School and a 1980 graduate of The University of Toledo where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. After graduating from college, Monica began working for The American Red Cross in Toledo and then in Columbus spanning twenty five years as the Assistant Director Hospital Services for Blood Services Central Ohio Region. She was inducted into the Who's Who of Women Executives in 1989. Monica will be remembered fondly by her family as kind, loving and with a gentle soul. She enjoyed working puzzles and building Lego's especially with her nephews and later with her great nieces; Kayla and Shelby who she referred to as "Her Little Angels", and spending time with her family. Monica is survived by her mother; Grace M. Ross (nee: Marshall) of Elyria, a brother; Timothy Ross (Cathy) of Grafton, nephews; Kyle Ross (Shanna) of LaGrange, Bryant Ross (Kelly O'Neil) of Elyria, great nieces; Kayla and Shelby Ross of LaGrange. Monica was preceded in death by her father; Edward F. Ross, and a brother; Thomas E. Ross. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St. Grafton where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. The Reverend Father John P. Seabold, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
