Mildred M. "Millie" Szczepanski-McCloskey, (nee-Sullivan), 84, of Grafton passed away Wednesday December 26, 2012 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange following a brief illness. She was born March 17, 1928 in Gilmer County, WV. And was a Grafton resident for most of her life. Millie was a homemaker and enjoyed working puzzles, gardening, shopping and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Sandy (Joseph Jr.) Pesch of Grafton; sons, David (Lynn) Spanski of Vermilion, Randall (Sherry) Szczepanski of Sheffield Village, and Gerald (Jean) Szczepanski of Grafton; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Macel Johnson of Grafton and Marilyn (Joseph) Cameron of Olmsted Twp.; brother, Fred (Shirley) Sullivan of Parkersburg, WV.. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben Szczepanski and John McCloskey, son, Donald Szczepanski, and sisters, Mabel Meyer, Mary Helen Sullivan and Marjorie Alfred. The family will receive friends Sunday 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Ralph Krall, pastor of the LaGrange United Methodist Church will Officiate. Burial will be at Nesbitt Cemetery, Grafton Twp..
