Mildred Helen Emody (nee: Gerhart) 91, of Grafton passed away Monday November 2, 2015 at Lifecare Center of Elyria following a long illness. She was born October 13, 1924 in Elyria, and had lived in North Ridgeville and Elyria all her life. Mildred had been employed at Perry Fay and Timm Springs in Elyria as a machine operator. She volunteered at EMH for (9) years, and was a member of The Senior Ladies Fellowship of Elyria. Mildred treasured spending time with her family, and enjoyed shopping with her sisters, sewing, gardening, painting, drawing. Survivors include two daughters; Sharon Madlem (John) of Grafton, Sandra Dickenson (Roger) of Grafton, additional survivors include (4) grandchildren; Stacie Bickel (Greg), Christopher Madlem (Tina), Brian Dickenson (Sarah), Brad Dickenson, (6) great grandchildren; CJ, Zach, Taylor, Nick, Liam, Luke, two sisters; Edna Novak of Lorain, Elsie Coen of Houston, TX., two brothers; William Gerhart, Allan Gerhart both of Elyria, and many nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Emody Sr. in 1996, and a son; Joseph A. Emody Jr. in 1956, her parents; Leo C. and Mary E. (nee: Smith) Gerhart, three sisters; Lenore Whitman, Ethel Evans, Jean Gerhart, and a brother; Theodore Gerhart.
