Heaven is missing an angel no more. Michelle Marie Smith was unexpectedly called home on Friday October 30, 2020. She will be truly missed by so many people's lives that she touched. Michelle, 54, of Grafton was born September 1, 1966 in Cleveland and was a Grafton area resident for most of her life. She worked as a hair stylist at The Barn in LaGrange and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. Survivors include her husband, Tony; daughter, Meagan Smith; sons, Tyler and Ryan Smith; mother, Dorothy Buzek (nee-Kennedy); sisters, Beverly (John) Brich, Rita (Steve) Garrett, Dorothy (Ronald) Layner, Patricia (Robert) Wittine, Carol (Dennis) Hefner; Regina Filippelli and Ruth (David) Cordy; brothers, Robert (Pamela) Buzek, Kenneth (Debbie) Buzek and John (Gina) Buzek. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Buzek. The family will receive friends Saturday November 7, 2020 in the gathering area of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St., Grafton from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a private, family Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of the church. Per CDC guidelines, social distancing and facial coverings will be required. The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Private burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton. The family requests no flowers, please. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
