Michele L. "Shelli" Plas (nee: Willbond) 63, of Grafton, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on January 19th 2016 at Ames Western Reserve Hospice in Westlake. She was born September 7, 1952 in Elyria. In 1971, she graduated from Elyria High School, where she was honored as her class' homecoming queen. Shelli cherished caring and cooking for her family and pets. She loved an early morning jog, an evening glass of wine, and creating the landscape around her home. Shelli was devoted to her job, and her patients as an orthodontist technician. Her smile and beauty were undeniable; she took pride in projecting a unique flair. Shelli will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of forty one years; Jack R. Plas, a daughter; Brittany M. Peters (Adam) of Elyria, a son; Brandon J. Plas (Emily) of Trinity, FL. Additional survivors include her mother; Joanne Willbond (nee: Patrick) of Elyria, and a brother; Patrick J. Willbond (Teresa) of Elyria, and devoted pets; Rufus, Ro-Ro, and Punky. Shelli was preceded in death by her father; Robert Willbond.
