Michael J. Zupko, born April 25, 1942, to parents Veronica (Bobak) Zupko and Michael Zupko (both deceased), passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025. To know him was an honor, to have loved him, a blessing. His life was rooted in faith and a belief in God which was evident in his quiet strength, kindness and grace. He had a soft spot for his dogs and an even bigger heart for his grandchildren; Alex and Austin Neura, Madeline Kermes (Nick), Ryan Zupko, Layne & Brayden Lawhon, Great grandchildren Michael and Mia Kermes, whom he adores endlessly. His true passion, even beyond sports and his meticulous lawn, was his love for his wife of 55 years, Linda. The two had four children: Kimberly Neura (Edward), Jeffrey Zupko (Jessie), Lisa Lawhon (William), and Cheryl Trexler (Daniel). He is reunited with his sisters who preceded him; Marjorie Zupko & Kathleen Zupko (Michael Christian). Through this sorrow shall rise hope and peace, that both his spirit and his smile will remain steadfast in your head and heart. Rest easy, Dad. We love you! Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 22, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St., Grafton. The Rev. John P. Seabold, pastor will be the Celebrant.
