Michael A. Youngberg 67, of Huron (formerly of Elyria) passed away at home on Thursday August 29, 2019 following a long illness. Michael was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Elyria. He was a journeyman pipefitter with Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 42, Norwalk. Michael treasured spending time with his family, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and gardening. Survivors include his loving wife of forty five years; Lori ( nee: Giangicomo), two sons; John (Jennifer) of Lorain and Timothy (Cheryl) of Pleasanton, CA. Additional survivors include five grandchildren; Sophia, Noah, Jacob, Kaylee and Katherine, two brothers; David (Judy) of Portland, CT., Thomas of Streetsboro, OH, and his best friend of sixty two years; Dennis Farkas (Cathe) of Cleveland. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; Earl and Pearl (nee: Knipper) Youngberg. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday September 3, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church 1140 West River Rd. Elyria, OH 44035 where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until time of services at 10:00 AM. Pastor Robert Weldon will officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
