Michael David Wapinsky, 62, of Amherst passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Lorain. He was born February 15, 1958 in Cleveland and was a graduate of Midpark High School. Michael worked as a dispatcher for South Shore Trucking. Survivors include his brother William Wapinsky of North Ridgeville; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Maxine Wapinsky ( nee Freeman), sister Christine Hook; brother Steven Wapinsky. There will be no visitation. Private services and burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Elyria, 440-322-4626.
