Michael A. “Mike” McGraw, 66, of Elyria, passed away after a long illness on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. He was born in Elyria on January 12, 1960 to parents Jerry and Diane (nee: Kotai).

Mike cherished life's simple pleasures and the time he spent with family and friends. He loved relaxing in the sunshine with a cold beer, attending classic rock concerts, and bringing people together through his passion for barbecuing and cooking. Whether preparing a favorite meal or enjoying good conversation around the grill, Mike had a gift for making others feel welcome. Above all, he was a man of strong faith whose beliefs guided his life and provided him with strength, comfort, and hope.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Pamela (nee: Ballas); daughters, Brittany, Morgan (Tim), Nicole, Britney; sister, Patty; brother, Jerry; grandchildren, Vinny, Frankie, Cecilia, Ford, Max, Sam, Mabel, and JP. Mike is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dianna.

Family will receive friends on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 4 -6 p.m. at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria.
