Michael R. MacAvoy, Jr., 51, of Avon Lake, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2022 surrounded by his family after a short illness. Survivors include his wife, Janet (nee: Simpson); daughter, Melina (Stephen); mother, Sandra; sister, Stephanie (Chuck) Hanchosky; sisters-in-law, Pranee Repuyan and Jeanne (Joe) Nazario; Uncles; Tim and Pat MacAvoy, Mike and Jerry Brant; Aunt Eleanor Brant; nephews, Aydin, Devin, Dylan, Nico, and Gino; nieces, Lillee, Eliana, and Isabella. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Sr., Uncle Jeff Brant Sr., and Aunt Diane Brant. Michael was a cousin to many and a friend to all, especially Rocky. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 from 3 PM – 8 PM at the American Legion Post 211 located at 31972 Walker Road, Avon Lake, OH. 44012.
