Michael J. Liwosz, 56, of Valley City passed away Friday December 18, 2015 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake following a long illness. He was born April 13, 1959 in Cleveland and was a Valley City resident for most of his life. Mike was the owner of Machinist Tool Repair, Inc. in Valley City for 28 years. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Columbia Station and enjoyed boating and fishing. Survivors include his mother, Bernice Liwosz of Valley City; sisters, Susan Novak (Denny Michaels) of Grafton and Patricia (Cliff) Crnjak of Avon; brother, John Liwosz Jr. of Valley City; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Liwosz Sr. and a brother, James Liwosz. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday January 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 25801 Royalton Rd. (State Rt. 82), Columbia Station. The Rev. Fr. Charles Ryba will be the Celebrant. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the church.
