Michael R. Justy, 74, of Grafton passed away Friday December 23, 2022 at his brother's home in Grafton following a brief illness. He was born August 30, 1948 in Elyria and was a lifelong Grafton resident. Mike was employed at the R.W. Beckett Company in North Ridgeville for 30 years, retiring as an inspector in 2010. He was a graduate of Borromeo Seminary and also St. Mary Seminary, both in Wickliffe. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton and enjoyed spending time at the Grafton-Midview Public Library and playing chess against computers. Survivors include his brothers, Kevin (Seny) Justy and Paul (Kathy) Justy and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard "Dick" and Sue (nee-Cordy) Justy and a sister, Barbara "BJ" Whitmore. The family will receive friends on Thursday December 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gathering area of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St., Grafton. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary of the Church. The Rev. John P. Seabold, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton.
