Michael A. Jezewski, 56, of Elyria passed away Saturday August 24, 2013 at Mercy Allen Hospital in Oberlin following a brief illness. He was born March 29, 1957 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Mike was formerly employed as a supervisor at the Lesco Company in Elyria, was a 1975 Elyria High School graduate, a former trustee at the Elyria United Polish Club, enjoyed walking and riding his bicycle and was a avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. Survivors include his daughter, Kristen (Trevor) County of Elyria; father, Anthony "Tony" Jezewski of Elyria; sisters, Laurie Kies of Elyria, Susan (Mike) Homoki of Grafton, Marianne (Rob) Prete of Vermilion, Judith (Grant) Lundberg of Cary, NC., Anne Marie Victor of Elyria and Diane (Bryan) Sunagel of Elyria; numerous nieces and nephews; longtime friends Rick Nenzoski and Kevin Welch both of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia in 2005 and a sister, Linda Jezewski in 1983. The family will receive friends Tuesday (today) 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Fr. Albert Veigas, pastor of St. Agnes Catholic Church will Officiate. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
