Michael E. Finnegan 57, of Elyria passed away at home Tuesday December 20, 2011 following a long illness. He was born May 27, 1954 in Elyria. Michael was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church; and loved spending time with his family, especially on beach vacations. He was a true Cleveland sports fan, and liked listening to rock and roll music. Survivors include his wife of thirty three years; Betty J. "Beth" (nee: Slaga), a daughter; Cara M. Finnegan of Elyria. Additional survivors include his mother; Marie Finnegan (nee: Kutz) of Sheffield Village, a sister; Mary Ann Finnegan of Sheffield Village, a brother; Daniel E. Finnegan (Becky) of Elyria.
