Megan F. Rathwell, 21, of Nova passed away unexpectedly on Thursday May 14, 2020 at U.H. Elyria Medical Center. She was born September 18, 1998 in Lorain and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Megan worked as a cosmetologist at Great Clips in Oberlin, was a 2016 graduate of the Lorain County Joint Vocational School and enjoyed playing softball. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Teresa and Rodney Craft; father and step-mother, Steve and Leslie Rathwell; sisters, Lauren Rathwell and Hannah Craft; paternal grandparents, Harlan and Doreen Rathwell; paternal great-grandmother, Bertha Rathwell and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Oscar and Ellen Helms. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private.
