Maxine R. Petranyi (nee: Reese) 73, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday March 6, 2015. She was born September 3, 1941 in Plainfield, New Jersey. Maxine had worked with several companies doing payroll. She treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed bowling, cooking, travel and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan that enjoyed listening to games on the radio. Survivors include her husband of fifty one years; Steve, a daughter; Maxine E. Koontz (David) of Grafton, a son Will C. Petranyi (Candi) of Elyria, two grandchildren; David and Jacob. Additional survivors include a brother; John Reese (Diane) of Lopez, PA, and two nephews; Eric and Adam Reese. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; Earl and Josephine (nee: Gavlick) Reese, and a brother; Bob Reese.
