Maxie L. "Pat" Baker, (nee-Coleman), 83, of Elyria passed away Monday February 22, 2016 at her home following a brief illness. She was born October 20, 1932 in Burdine, KY. And was an Elyria for most of her life. Pat was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Elyria and enjoyed craftwork and animals. Survivors include her daughters, Lynna Baker and Jane Holbrook both of Elyria; sons, John Baker of Elyria, Randy Baker of Terre Haute, IN., and Jeff Baker of Elyria; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Earl on June 2, 2013 and 4 sisters. The family will receive friends on Thursday February 25, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57, Elyria). The Rev. Jimmy Baker, Pat's nephew will Officiate. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
