Mary Jean Walter (nee Reinders), 83, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Burbank Park Care Center in Burbank, OH. She was born March 26, 1938 in Lorain. On May 6, 1961 Mary Jean married the love of her life George Paul Walter. Mary Jean worked as a secretary for Medina Landmark. She was a former Cub Scout Mother. Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Russ) White, Patricia (Jeff) Turk; sons, William (Vanessa), Robert (Donnamarie), Michael, and Richard (Rae Lynn); 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; sister-in-law Pat (Gene) Henderson, sister Nancy Belu. She was preceded in death by her husband George Paul Walter; step-mother Laura Reinders; parents William and Helen Reinders (nee Hitsman); granddaughter Amanda White ;brother Doug Forthofer; daughter-in-law Patti Walter. Family will receive friends 2-5 PM Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday, August 30, 2021 at Our Lady of Help Christian Church 9608 Norwalk Rd. Litchfield, OH. 44253. (Please meet at church) Rev. Fr. Edward Suszynski and Rev. Fr.
