Mary Jean Reinker (nee McDaniel), 84, of Elyria passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at her home with family by her side. She was born March 8, 1937 in Crossville, TN. Mary Jean enjoyed cooking, traveling to Florida but especially spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Linda S. Knapp; sons, Allan J. Reinker (Davalynn), Mike E. Reinker; grandchildren ,Christopher Reinker (Jean), Beckie Hightower, Tyler Knapp, Aimee Chapman, Aidan Reinker and Finn Reinker; sisters, Christine Cook, Billie Ford and Shirley Cassady; brother, Charles McDaniel (Thelma). She was preceded in death by her husband James E. "Jim" Reinker in 2018; brother, James; parents, Craven and Reba McDaniel (nee Reed) and 2 infant siblings. Family will receive friends 4PM until time of service at 7PM Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
