Mary Ann Reed (nee: Pluta) 77, of Elyria passed away Sunday January 29, 2012 at EMH Healthcare in Elyria following a short illness. She was born July 28, 1934 in Elyria. Mary Ann was a 1952 Elyria High School graduate. She retired from Stang Motors in 2000 as the Office Manager/ Booker. She is a member of St. Agnes Church; former member of Holy Cross Church, Holy Cross Altar and Rosary Society, Elyria United Polish Club, Elyria Catholic Dad's Booster Club, Holy Cross PTU, and she enjoyed traveling. Survivors include two daughters; Carol Baptiste (Phil) and Renee Zachea (Bobby), both of Elyria. Additional survivors include two grandchildren; Alyssa and Ben Baptiste, two brothers; Robert Pluta (Rose) of LaGrange, Tom Pluta of Elyria, her former husband; Dale Reed, and many nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by a son; David, her parents; John and Wanda (nee: Budny) Pluta, and a sister in law; Darlene Pluta.
