Mary Ann Davis, (nee-Myers), 85, a beacon of warmth and grace in Wellington, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday August 17, 2024 surrounded by the photographs and gardens she greatly cherished. Born on June 24, 1939 to Glenn and Eleanore (nee-Buswell) Myers in LaGrange, Mary Ann's early years out in the country framed a lifetime that was as vibrant as the flowers and animals she tended to with such care. Mary Ann's life was a collection of chapters that told a story of dedication, love and kindness. Her home was constantly filled with laughter, the pitter-patter of her beloved great-grandchildren, and the sound of Cleveland sports on television. She is survived by her two sons, Timothy Davis and Mark Davis; sibling, Gordy Myers; five grandchildren and her 13 great-grandchildren. She now joins her beloved husband Donald "Red" Davis and her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Davis in eternal rest. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 27, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Chuck Behrens, Chaplain of the Hospice of the Western Reserve will Officiate. Burial will be private.
