Mary Elizabeth Keller (nee Recker) passed away peacefully on her 89th birthday on April 14, 2022 at Abbewood Assisted Living in Elyria. She was born in Cleveland to Louis and Coletta Recker (nee Miller) and was a homemaker to her six children and husband, Robert Keller Sr. Mary was known as a strong and loving woman who enjoyed playing bingo, gambling, word search puzzles, and spending time with her family. Mary was the Elyria Elks Club #465 Mother of the Year in 2005. Survivors include daughters; Darlene (Mac) Ensign, Connie (Andy) Daniels, Annette Keller; sons, Bob (Barb) Keller, Jr., Dan (Cathy) Keller, Mark (Connie) Keller; sister, Louetta Moss; brothers, Jerry (Carol) Recker, Ralph (Jerry) Recker; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert, in 2015; brother, Lou Recker, and great-grandson Benjamin Robert Daniels who was born sleeping in 2018. Family will receive friends at Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, Ohio on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 4:00-6:00pm. Funeral service will follow at 6:00pm with Father Charles Diedrick officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
