Mary Heighberger, (nee-Macove), 87, of Elyria passed away Wednesday November 26, 2014 at the Center Ridge Health Campus in North Ridgeville following a long illness. She was born February 21, 1927 in Avon Lake and was a Elyria resident for most of her life. Mary retired as a inspector at the former Stanadyne Corporation in Elyria, enjoyed dancing and spending time with her grandchildren and was a extremely avid golfer. Survivors include her daughters, Susan (Michael) Barney of San Anselmo, CA. and Carol (Michael) Olenek of Elyria; son, Alan (Jan) Heighberger of Lorain; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, George Macove of Lorain.
