Mary Kaye Fox (née Lakocy), 69, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on January 31, 2025, in Cleveland, Tennessee, following a long illness. Born on October 15, 1955, and raised in Elyria, Ohio, Mary attended Elyria High School. She built a life filled with creativity and love, becoming a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Mary had a passion for crafting and repurposing items, spending countless hours in her cherished "she-shed," where her imagination came to life. Her talents extended to operating herown craft and resale shop in recent years. She also found joy in exploring craft fairs, flea markets, and resale shops, always uncovering inspiration in the treasures she discovered. Mary cherished time spent with her family and had a special affection for dogs, caring for many over the years. Her warmth and creativity brought joy to those around her and left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her. Mary is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jerry Fox; her son Zachary Fox; her grandson Zeke Fox, both of Cleveland, Tennessee; her sister Sue Moehle of Vermilion, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Jeremy; her parents Raymond Lakocy and Geraldine Booth; her sister Debbie; and her brother Rick. Visitation will be held at Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, Ohio on Monday February 10 from 10 am to 12 pm. Burial to follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44825 North Ridge Rd, Amherst, Ohio. For those traveling long distance, lodging can be provided. Please contact the family if this is needed.
