Mary Belle Foley (nee Swiger) passed away on November 20, 2012 at the home of her daughter's Linda in Livonia, MI where she lived for 5 years. She was born June 12, 1926 in Grafton, WV and lived most of her life in Grafton and Elyria, Ohio. She graduated from Fairview High School in WVA. After Howard Foley returned from WW II, he noticed the girl next door and they got married in June 9, 1947 Parents were Father Claude J Swiger and Mother Lizzie A Shuman. Husband; Howard D Foley preceded in death in 2004 and 2 brothers (William and Claude Swiger) and a sister Betty Joan Hawkins, a brother who died in childbirth. Survivors include two daughters: Linda D Yoder of MI and Ellen Sue Hamrick of Elyria, Ohio. Grand children; Melissa Sperko (Yoder) of SC, Mary Ann McElhaney (Hamrick) of Elyria, and Robert (Bobby) Yoder of MI, six great grandchildren; Joey and Annika Sperko, Brianna, Dustin and Caden McElhaney and Thomas Yoder. She loved her Lord, reading and watching sports on TV - baseball and basketball. Spending time with kids and grandkids was her enjoyment in life. She attended Calvary Missionary Church in Livonia, MI. Funeral services 1:00 PM Monday November 26, 2012 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 39475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
